Entry to the Profession

We do not intend to reproduce here the entry system to become a solicitor, except provide relevant links.

In order to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales, you need to complete both academic and vocational stages of training to satisfy entry to the profession as stipulated by the Law Society.

The routes to training as a solicitor can be found on the Law Society’s website under ‘Students and Trainees’.

Support as a student and as a professional
